to connect the ubs wire to your mp3, tehre should be an opening on your mp3 player..and to connect the cord to the computer, look on your computer..(not desktop) and usually under the on/off button there should be opening and plug it in there

I'm going to assume you meant a "usb port". Your mp3 player should have come with a cable. One of the cable will be flat and rectangle shapped. The other end of the cable will be smaller and will only fit into your mp3 player. Plug one end of the cable into a port on your computer. (look around, there's only one socket on your computer the cable will plug into) Plug the other end into your mp3 player and viola, you're off and running.

if you are using a windows xp there are 4 usb port their you can use any of them as long as they are installed to you computer and if your mp3 have usb connector you can connect it..
