I got 2 movies to play, but now whenever i try it says windows media player does not support the file type or codec that was used to compress the file? how do i get around this? or how do i find movies that will play? thanks.

Download the codec for the ones in question.. Just remember, you might need another player to play it..

The best way to get movies that you know will work is to download them from a known good source or to buy them. Hacked copies of movies you will always have issues with. Although we recomend you do not use pirated software, here is a tip. Being that you never know what you will be really getting, you never know if its the right file or not. You might try seeing if there is a codec needed to play the file, mostly WMP will tell you this. If it doesnt try downloading the same movie just a diffrent one from what you downloaded. Sometimes you get a bad copy and you can download the same movie from somone else that has it. If you need to codecs (which microsoft and their partner do not support or provide the codecs for movies) let me know, i will send you all the codecs you will ever need.

Windows Player doesn't support the file type so you just have to download codec to be able to play it.

because some limewire is copywrite and windows does not want to be responsible u might want to download it on a cd first then it will download on windows
