I also loved Twilight and New Moon-so just...awesome? Not the right word, but whatever. Young Adult romances...I'd say a Great and Terrible Beauty-it's not really a romance, but it's set in Victorian England and is just a really cool book. It's got a lot of ideas that sort of tie into a romance, but there isn't actually any romance in it (confusing idea, but it's still a good book). And I third the recomendation for Sarah Dessen-her books are really sweet and romantic usually.
If you're looking for "older" romances, I'd try Pride and Prejudice-classic, but really brilliant. It is so much better than the movie, by the way. Another good one is Wuthering Heights-slightly depressing, but still just a really good classic romance. If you can stand the language, you'll find a lot of very romantic ideas in them. Also, Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen-I'm just starting to read it, so I don't know how it ends, but it seems to be in the same lines as the two mentioned above (I know they're not really "teen" romances, but they're really good. I'm 16, and despite any crazy looks I get, I like the books.) Hope you find some good books!

I believe Annette Curtis Klause wrote Blood & Chocolate and The Silver Kiss. I agree they were both very good stories.
Got Fangs? and Circus of the Darned by Katie Maxwell are also good vampire based novels as are some of L.J. Smith's novels, but the Smith novels such as Secret Vampire and Vampire Diaries are out of print. You might be able to find them at the library.
A non-vampire teen romance with a paranormal twist is The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot. They were just wonderful books and there are 6 of them in all so it will keep you busy for a while.
The Named, The Dark and The Key and Old Magic by Marianne Curley are all time travel YA novels with some romance.
Also, I've written a novel called The Shadow Within which Young Adults (and Kids) Books Central compared to Twilight, not because of the story but because people who liked Twilight might like it as well. They might also have some additional suggestions for books if you wanted to check them out. The web address is www.yabookscentral.com. I'm not affiliated with them, they just reviewed my book.

I'm 17, as well. Twilight and New Moon are my favorite books. I just finished A Certain Slant of Light a few hours ago. Though it's structure is very different, It's a good love story. Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz was quite good. Tickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen by Tamora Pierce was excellant.

I second the nomination for Sarah Dessen. She is my favorite YA romance author.
You might also enjoy Joan Bauer. My favorite of hers is Hope Was Here. Squashed is also an excellent choice. Dairy Queen by Catherine Gilbert Murdock.
Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta.
Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. It's a hip long-distance love story with lots of music.
