Now, don´t get me wrong, I´m all for helping others, but I just don´t understand why the US is so quick in helping other nations (financially and via military power) when we have problems at home. In my opinion, if we can "find" $770 million to aid Lebanon, why can´t we at least utilize a fraction of that to rebuild New Orleans and other areas that have been totally devastated by previous and recent natural disasters within our own country first. Some of that $770 million could go towards building facilities to help the less fortunate within our country. We could donate a couple hundred million to Lebanon, but how about we use the rest at home. Just a thought. What do you think??

Whaaaat???? Oh my Good Lord No Way?? For what ?? Iran and Saudi and all those people including Turkey need to pay for them that is ridiculous, Iran/Turkey supported the Hezbollah and sent men in there to kill Israelis, and start a war to indirectly effect America and we are paying to clean it up? Forget about it, that is stupid. I will not support that ever. The Arab Muslim oil merchants better start footing the bill for their own people from now on. Or they should not be welcome here ever. They are selfish and they want us to foot the bill. And their people still suffer under their tyranny, like pauns they are manipulated right? Well that all should stop with the buck stopping here and see how fast they drum up terrorism? Without money they won't be terrorists, they won't have the energy. I say starve them out till they come all the way to a peace treaty with Israel and then they we will see how much the Saudis are our friends when they go screaming to Qadafi, and friends and then what we shall see who is our friends. To hell with them all. That is wrong totally wrong.

maybe out of guilt.
And I can only imagine the anger when you people read this.
But I don't think that $770 covers it.
The U.S. asked Israel to attack Lebanon in their attempt to eradicate hizbollah ( another boo boo Mr Bush) which ended up costing lebanon $6 billion dollars in damages, not to mention the 1000 dead.
