Me and my friends have a band, and we have 2 singers me being one of them. Our other friend wants to the lead singers, but she sings really badly. She start singing really high and squeaky and she pauses alot. And she also comments me and my other friends on how WE sing. How can I tell her not to be a singer without hurting her feelings. And she already plays the keyboard.

Get a vocal coach. If you don't think that'll help then fill her head up about everything else she's good at. For example, "I think that song would be awesome if you could rock the keyboard for us!"

Maby you can help her get singing lessons. If that doesn't work out, tell her the truth(if you havn't already). If still that doesn't work you can try recording her and make her listen to the tape, but let her know how well she plays the keyboard and that your band wouldn't be the same without her.
