Two things come to mind. Bad or lose belt on the alternator causing it to sometimes slip and fail to provide adequate power to the car or a bad alternator all together that is no longer providing enough power to power the vehicle. I would check the belt first.

It sounds like your describing hestitation, and that can happen when you need a tune-up. Sometimes a certain type of gas can do it.

If that's what it is its usually some relatively minor thing, and, as you said, it could be letting it sit in the cold for a while. They sell gas additives that are intended to clean stuff up for a while and stop engine hesitation - just to make the point that it could be gas -or gas filter-related.

I can't pretend to know what's causing what you describe, but if it is hesitation is usually isn't a big problem or cost very much (unless you get the "giant, super-duper, tune-up" that includes stuff usual ones don't. If you have something like dirty filters the cold weather and letting the car sit could "highlight" that.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net
