Not right off of the bat. First, you need to file under workmans comp and be put under an OSHA 300 log. The doctor will determine whether you have restrictions. If you do, then there may be some modified work. You should get disability payments at this point if nothing is available. If you are classified as being disabled, you may be entitled to a training program for some other line of work, plus possibly some form of disability.
The fact that you are still working suggests that you did not follow proper protocol.

No but your company should have had you fill out workers compensation paperwork and sent you to a facility that handles work related injuries right away. Did you notify them right when the injury occurred ? Because it was an injury caused at work you are entitled to workers compensation insurance. All businesses by law must carry it Also when you went to the hospital didn't they ask if it was a work related injury ? If so, the hospital should have had you file the claim form there. If your employer doesn't have workers comp. insurance or if they refuse when you say you need to file a claim I would tell them that you are going to report them to the labor commissioner. The labor board can suspended a business license or even cancel it if the company does not carry workers comp. insurance. Hire a lawyer only after you talk to your local labor commissioner, the phone number can be found in the phone book in your local government section.

I'm sure they have insurance, so do yourself a favor and get an attorney. At the very least they'll pay for your medical expenses AND you'll get a cash settlement depending on what % of disability you have from the accident. Don't wait until it's too late.. get what you DESERVE now!

Sounds like either get an attorney unless you can tell them that you did it at home and use your insurance and take FMLA Family Medical Leave Act (12 weeks off) to get surgery done to repair your knee and let it heal ..it is hard to get workman's comp...easier to use insurance although you may have to pay a deductible...

Why do these questions always come from accounts that are one day old?

You should be seen by a Dr. and file a work comp claim. IF you can't work.

Why would you get cash? The employer's workers comp insurance should cover your medical bills and related expenses. It should not treat you to a fat bank account.

Many lawyers will take cases on a contingency basis, meaning their pay is a percentage of what you recover.
I'd see a lawyer. Nothing to lose. All to gain.

Why r u Americans so gung ho on suing everyone? Unless it was neglect that caused a malfuction that made you pull your acl, then your the only on to blame.
