I know it seems to make a lot of sense and you think that you'd rather know than to not know. Having been a woman who has done this in the folly of my youth I will refer to these two cliches: 'seek and you shall find' and 'ignorance is bliss'. You will have no one to blame when ultimately you will hear something you don't like but yourself. You will be better off trusting him and the knowledge that what is in the dark will come to light. But once you start checking messages, its like crack, you can't stop and that eventually will take a toll on your relationship as well. My suggestion is to swear on some dead relatives grave that you will respect your boyfriend's right to privacy and stop checking his messages. Your sanity will thank you!

if hes acting suspiciously, then you need to, to find out if you're right.
If you don't, it will always fester.
Keep in mind though, girls really don't leave messages like that, any girl he's cheating on you with will most likely leave a plutonic message, and only tell him those other things directly.
Just keep that in mind, and give him the benefit of the doubt.
My ex was cheating on me, using yahoo and email.
I was 99% sure, checked her archives and found out I was right.
I wouldn't have done it under any other circumstances if I hadn't been almost sure, but you can't go through life getting played like a chump.

When you have to sneak around and check messages there's something wrong.
Stop trying to find out what he's doing and either trust him or leave.

No, that's red flag number one through five. If you think there's something you should know be a woman about it and come out and ask him! Besides you would hit the roof if he checked yours!

I've done it and it's a bad idea. Even if you don't find anything, it "feeds the beast" and you can start doing more and more. Voicemail, then trying email, looking in drawers & his wallet when he's in the bathroom. It can ruin your relationship and your sanity!

No because if you do find anything then you're going to have to bring it up to him and then youre going to get into a huge fight about privacy. worth it? no.
if you don't trust him that much why are you with him

Not really because if he does find out, he might think you don't trust him and/or just be offended period. You have to put yourself in his situation. Now if you suspect he is cheating and you are REALLY sure he is...maybe you should.
