You don't want them in your yard. When I was in college we had Canadian Geese all over the campus, and they would poop everywhere.

You would literally have to watch your step every time you had to go to class because you where sure to step in it if you didn't

If you want them in your yard, when you see one just be sure to feed it, and eventually they will tell their friends and they will start to multiple. Its just like Pigions, put out a bird feeder and within several months you'll have several dozen pigens sitting around your house waiting for you to put out more food!

Since almost everyone else is disgusted by their pooping all over their lawns and aggressively chasing them and their children it is easy to get them there. Just ask the people chasing them to chase them into your yard instead. Your next problem will be how to get them out of your yard after you spend all of your time cleaning up after them or running from them. Don't forget that they are under federal wildlife protection so don't do anything to annoy them after they get there.

Are you sure?

They are a very messy bird. Pretty to see swimming on a pond but after a flock walk across your drive and leave their "deposits" you might change your mind.
