Insecurities can set it off. Once you become totally secure and confident in yourself you will notice you will become less jealous because you will soon realize that you are "The Bomb", the best there is. You should value yourself to the point that you believe that no one is better and your partner will see it to. Just not be an ego trip or too arrogant.

I trust my man 100% and he trusts me 100% too.

When you want something that someone has that can set it off. Also wanting to be that person because they have the boy you like or something like that!

basically someone having what i want...
like for example, i get all jealous and stuff when my crush (who is also one of my friends) talks to my other friend who also has a crush on him. XP

I'm not, I figure I don't own anyone and anyone that wants to be with me has that choice. I love everyone and try to look for the good in everyone.
