Any ideas for a folktale?

I need this for school and it's due tomorrow so answers would be great.

Well, I dont know what time period its supposed to be in but the easiest thing to do is some sort of "coming-of-age" story
Base it on your life
Include what you want
Make your main character a little older or younger than yourself
Include references to the time period

If its supposed to be a legend type of thing,
Go with wise animals that knew the secrets of the universe and could communicate and never fought before evil humans took over

they're all corny but then again
its a grade
AND
Folktale is a preeetttyyy broad term
