A home inspector assesses the physical condition of the property.

An appraiser assesses the monetary value of the property.

I believe both require coursework & licensure/certification, in New York, but I may be incorrect.

Start by checking with the city licensing division's to establish the requirements for each; if any.

You may then seek out companies that perform these services to glean from them what the requirements are.
They may offer you an apprenticeship position to learn on the job and train with them.

Best of luck to you!

previously you're taking any criminal action, attempt chatting with the guy and the builder first. He would purely fix it. If he doesnt do something, you want to bypass confer with a good real resources criminal professional and word in case you adult adult males have a case. There are some cases the position the defendant is causing an inconvenience to others, yet there truly isnt any criminal action that the plantiff can take. also, perhaps a lawsuit receives him to fix it. you should sue the owner and the builder because they're those that needed this element there (and they put in it too) The county isnt at fault.

Now if you do not have any experience with what you want to be DO NOT TRY TO BE ONE.. There are Internet courses you could take that you will get a cert. over the net. but I know contractor that are more than able to pass the test and they said they would not ever dream of being one. It isn't worth what you have to go through. Trust me again stay away. I am only trying to help.
