Drag your cursor over just what you want to print, not the whole page, and highlight it. Then click on File and Print (NOT the print button at the top of the page), and choose "Print Selected." This just prints what you dragged over and not the ads.

Okay, not all that was posted? a good money saver as regards to ink is buying compatables/remans. They're so much cheaper than the originals although not as good quality. It depends on your printer and what yo're printing as to whether they'd save you. Go have a look around and see what you can get. If you have a HP then go and get them right now!!! canon on the other hand are pretty much the same price. I'll stop babbling now.

the best way is to go to your printers control panel (software on your computer) now you need to dig around abit but once you find the right setting you will only print what you want or need such as text only with no background images or linked items.
if that sounds like too much hard work then you can highlight just what you want to print (text only) then creat a new blank .txt file and paste the copied text to that file. you can then print that file.
you will lose any formatting and text styles. you will be left with only the basic text.
as for pictures you see and want you can normally right click on them and save them to your computers hard drive or just click print if you do not want to save the picture.
good luck!

Hi there-
For my computer, when printing, you can also click on whether you want the printout to be in black or in colour.
From the File menu, select print and then in the tab, you should have the box that says "Properties" or "Preferences". By clicking on this box, it will give you the option of checking off whether you want your document to be printed in black or in colour.
Hope this helps!

My suggestions is go up to 'File' from your Internet page, click on print, wait for the print dialogue box to come up, click on 'printer preferences' and then click on either draft or grayscale printing, this will print in b/w. another alternative is to highlight the words you want to print, right click and choose save, open up your Word program and then click on 'paste'. If any pictures come with your pasting you can delete them form Word. Hope this helps.

There are indeed some sipleltons on here; there are some simpletons too.
The first responder has it right, just select what you want to print & do it via "file".
Another way is to select what you require, then copy & paste it into Word where you can kick it around to suit.
All the rest is unnecessary tripe.

OK, not what you expected. I dont care what I print, I use a 'Continuous Ink Supply System' (yahoo search term), my printing is so cheap its almost embarrasing. For example, Epson Cart £6.50, my cart full of ink, forty pence.
