I don’t wear black nail polish. But I do wear cranberry, purplish brown, and burnt colors. Although I still were the classics, I always get complements on the "dark" colors. I still wear it because I like it, but I was just wondering if it’s still in....guess so.

It depends what you mean by dark nail polish and it depends what you mean by "in".
If a person wears black nail polish she is usually condsidered to be "Goth". To most people who consider themselves to be "Goth", wearing black nailpolish is indeed "in".
Dark nail polish in a red or pink shade is almost always "in"-- to the "Fashonista" crowd.
Dark blue or green or any "cool" color of nail polish is, to msny people, never "in". However, some people are totally cool with the spinach/blueberry nail trend.
Personally, I'm Au Natural all the way.
But don't get me wrong...black nailpolish can be quite cute, and if used in good taste, it can be anything but "Goth".
P.S. Not that "Goth" implies bad taste.

It depends on what you're wearing, the color of your skin tones and how long the nails are. Dark polish on nubby nails is gross, but dark polish on at least a 1" nail >can< be attractive.

Yes, It's definitely in. I work on a beauty magazine. Btw - for spring look for a lot of dark greens, teals, or deep oranges. It's going to be about showing off your colors!

Nail polish doesn't really go out of style--unless it some unusual color for a specific holiday.
Wear what you like and feel confident.

Yes, it's very chic. But, I don't reccomend dark polish for someone with short, stubby fingers, it makes them look even uglier. Personally, I hate the fad, I perfer lighter...happier colors!

NOT BLACK. I do agree that the dark navy, or the darker greens and reds are very in.

Yes, I guess so...but I wouldnt wear it, im pretty pale, so it looks too hash against my skin.

yes! tons of people are even wearing black (lindsay lohan, nicole richie, LC)...it doesnt have to be for just goths/emos!
