Okay so im in jornalism and we are thinking of cool things for the math layout. We finnaly came up with the idea to Pimp our calculator! So i volunteered to pimp my calculator. I havent the slightest clue what to do to it though i have a grey calculator its a scientific one and its a texas instrument and i dont know if this means anything cause to me a calculator is a calculator. It has a lid that goes over it so if you have any ideas on how to pimp my calculator then please tell me! Thanks! Oh and if you have any ideas that would be more on the cheap side then that would be awesome well thanks again!

this is what i would do....paint it (with nail polish maybe-especially if you can find the metalic kind), then cover it with rhinestones, and i'd put something on the inside of the flip top lid...probably a mirror or (i'm thinking of the show "pimp my ride" where they always put a bunch of t'v's in the car) i would maybe put a little picture or drawing of a t.v......i'd probably also get a sheet of inexpensive stickers (probably in the scrapbooking section of the craft store) that had numbers on it and put the stickers over the keypads .....have fun and good luck!

well the first thing that came to mind was rhinestones and thats the easiest way to pimp anything. also just get some type of metallic paper, and some jewels or furr anything flashy

or if you are working on a budget or just being lazy look around your room, find any bright colors, look for the word "pimp", or any clever words in magazines with cool texts, cut it out and glue it on the calculator or pictures of dice somethin crazy.... glue it on and surround it jewels or something........use and old neckless or bracelet....

that should help a little....once you get started it will all start coming together

just go to a hobby lobby or anna's linnen store to find this kind of stuff

Cover it in purple velvet with a gaudy gold chain.
Look in the local drug store in the novelty section - like where the valentines cutesy gifts are - look for some goofy doll that you could decorate your calculator with even if you only use the spats type shoes or pimp hat from the doll.

Simple. Buy those stick-on rhinestones (they sell at Claire's) that go on cell phones and cover the calculator in them.

You need gold! It might be hard to spray paint it, so my recommendation is to use a bottle of gold nail polish.

Also, it would be fun if you could find a way to connect it to a big chain, so that you could wear it around your neck.

Make a cool looking case to hold it and a clip to hang it from your beltloop.
