I have good expression, but what is a way to make people belive more. Because it seems like i am trying very or too hard. I like the monolouge i chose, and i know its my personality. It's a very heart felt act. And its called " why i want to be an actor" so it's very cutish. So how would i bring it into my position? Thankyou.

The most effective presentation in any art form is contrast.
Whether it's painting, singing, acting, dancing, etc. the element
of surprise is often the very thing that makes a piece memorable.
In music, it's always the bridge that makes a good song,
in painting, it's the interplay of colors, in dance, the leaps
or pirouettes. In acting, the idea is to pull in the audience and
surprise them with emotion. This is done by underplaying
some parts and giving more emphasis to others. You need
a delicate sense of timing. For instance....pausing before
a particularly important descriptive emotional passage or
waiting until what you have just said, sink in. Speak as if
you were having a conversation with your friends...forget
about acting alltogether....then, start up slowly and build
on the important parts of your monolouge....return to the
natural conversation mode, build again and so on. This
contrast mirrors real life and everyone will relate.

Do not think about it! Usually we (actors) screw up monologues because we think too much. BE in the moment. Let the room effect you.....let your nerves effect you....let you hangover effect you. If you try and block your emotions and how you feel the piece will be awful. Let the piece excite you and TRY to be that character at that time. (I know it's hard)
An exercise to try....... Run around a room until you are out of breath......then try and deliver the monologue. You will be more in the moment and you will find the important parts as you struggle to regain control of your breathing. LET YOUR ATMOSPHERE IN!!! But do not........ I repeat....... do not pre plan your delivery. It will bore the audition panel to tears! Practice in many different ways and just let the one that wants to come out.......come out!
