I'm a big fan of the dragonlance novels(only i'm in 8th grade and have been reading these for years,odd)and i totally fliped when i heard they were making a movie,untill i heard it was going to be animated. Unless they use that new 3d animation that they got i think this movie is going to be a disgrace to the dragonlance name. also i don't think this movie is going to make sense to anybody who hasn't read the books for all thee refernces they make to earlier times. like the refernces to Huma, no one is going to know who the heck that is unless they already have background knowledge.

I hadn't heard about a Dragonlance movie!! I read them when they first came out, am now 33, and I still love them!! In my opinion, series like these are better off being animated. Easier to suspend belief and get absorbed into the fantasy.
I remember fearing the Lord of the Rings movies before they came out. If the movies had sucked, it could have ruined the books. But look how that turned out....
