This is a common problem mainly with files that have been created by other than your self, such as files from the net or off of another program.. If this is happening when ever you create one.. lets say a document in microsoft word, then try to deleate it and it says that. Then you have an issue either in your system settings, either your permissions are set wrong or there is an error with the program(s) that are creating them. To set the permissions, you can right click on the file, or the folder its in, click properties, then security. make sure that your settings are on the folder the file are in are not set to use simple file shairing, to check/change, in the folder click on tools, folder options, on the very last setting if using xp, make sure this is unchecked.. then once you compleate that, you can go up one level, then right click the folder and hit properties, make sure your user name has full control over that folder. then do the same with the file. remember, even if you have full control over the file, if the folder you do not.. it will over ride the file. Good luck!
If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me on the e-mail address on my site. Let me know how it goes!

That could happen for a number of reasons:
1. Another program is using the file. Windows won't let you delete it, if some program is using the file. Close all open programs and try to delete it again.
2. You may have marked the file as "read-only". Right click the file, select "Properties" see if the checkbox next to "Read-only" is checked. If it is, uncheck it and click OK. Then try to delete it again.
3. Re-start your machine once. Try deleting the file first, before you open any applications.
4. Try deleting the file in "Safe Mode". (See source link for details)

If it is a file that YOU created on this computer, there should not be anything to prevent you from deleting. The message you stated above doesn't make sense, and is not good grammer. This is not something that would be on a Microsoft or Mac message. You might have a virus from somewhere overseas. "the file is write protected of disk of full"???????? terrible...these people need to study a little english before they write these kind of messages.
Anyway, go to http://www.avast.com and install their free home version. Let it boot scan your entire local drive. Move anything it finds to the chest.
