sounds like you have a crush on her, you don't buy plutonic friends gifts for valentines day.
Buy her something she has to do with you, buy her a ticket to a show, and hold on to the other one for yourself. But her a card saying she's a special special friend.
And start complimenting her a lot in the meantime, that way she'll not be confused when you make your move.

If she is more than just a friend, get her flowers and candy that are significant to her. If just a regular gal pal - some sort of stuffed animal to thank her friendship. Be creative.

You could give her a nice box of chocolates or some flowers or even a nice necklace or something that says "best friends" on it. I'm sure she will love anything you give her.

a groovy necklace ...not sparkly cuz shes jus a friend though....candy is kinda boring bcuz thats what everyone dose! otherwise how about a scarf or a cute lil hat?
