Are they paid their worth?

They do fairly well here in the midwest. I really can't say if they are paid their worth though.

Yes there is a shortage of nurses right now so they are gettin paid good and gettin lots of hours

I'm pretty sure that nurses are in the same boat as teachers, but not as bad...Great work, special calling, but only enough money to not really be considered poverty level income...

yes, they go to school for that money for average of 4 yrs.
