I have blue eyes and got blue ones, they enhanced my natural colour and looked stunning. However, if your not used to putting them in they are very tricky, eyes will stream for a while and make up runs everywhere. Put them in one night when your not going out and see how you get on with them. I went out with a friend once and was in a queue and rolled eyes to top of my head, contacts didn't roll with my own eyes and this gave my mate nightmares for days lol, I got mine from a optician who made sure my eyes were ok for them and wouldn't let me have them until i could put them in properly. Go for natural shades to look stunning and avoid cats eyes etc as you will look like a freak and people will know they're fake.

when they work they can be very striking... but at the end of the day, you're faking. It's not like dyeing your hair or something... Some people will diss you for wearing them...
If you do want some, get them from an optometrist. Make sure you get ones that are the right colour to cover over your natural eye colour, especially if you want blue or green over a brown eye.
Some of the blue ones aren't opaque enough and are a waste of time and money! Also, disposable are muucchhh more comfortable.
But be carefull, they apparently caused paris hilton's droopy eye! lol

Can be alright, but can look wierd... I would be into them if you could get daily disposable ones- in other words, you use a pair once and then throw them away. Apparently they last about three or six months though, can't remember, and you have to clean them before you use them. Of course, there'll be a little discomfort the first time you try them, but you get used to it...
As for how they look, weelll, alright I suppose... I've only ever seen them being worn twice actually, and both those people were asian girls- one had a very vibrant reddy brown colour in, and they were very beautiful, but the other had these green ones in, and it just didn't look right at all. I've heard you can get joke ones too, like tiger eyes, or completely white eyes, or wierd colours, like purple. Could be fun I suppose, but I think the novelty might wear out before the contact lenses themselves do...
If I was going to get them, I think I'd try a lot on to see what they looked like, and maybe try to get something that's quite close to my natural eye colour, maybe try for a more vibrant blue? I think they can be quite expensive, so they'd have to be just right.

Colored contacts are beautiful, but not for everyone. If you have light eyes there are only a few eye enhancer contacts to choose from. If you have dark eyes there are many more choices. I will warn you, if you have dark eyes, the contacts might not work. There is a problem with the color of the contact slipping on your pupil causing foggy vision. If you have light eyes, you should not have a problem, because the colors are much lighter and much easier to see through. Colored contacts are also quite expensive. Speak to your optometrist for a price. Also, I will warn you....colored contacts are ridiculously fake looking. Once someone looks into your eyes up close, all they see are colored dots on your eye. Best of luck to you!

You can get them anywhere. Walmart or Sam`s Club. I would prefer Sam`s Club since they`re cheaper and the quality is really fine. BTW color contact is my choice. It`s because it is easier to put them on. Choose your color wisely. If you have darkbrown natural color then choose the one that`s only a little lighter. Never wear blue if you have dark hair color. You can have a choice try them on before you buy them. The way to test if it looks good on you or not is tilt your head up a little bit, look up, and have your friend look at your eyes straight foward to see if it matches your face. The color of your skin should go with the color of your contacts. If you found the one that goes with your hair, face, and skin. People couldn`t tell if they`re fake unless their face is 5 inch. is away from yours.

I think it would be fun to change your eye colour. My old boss wore green and it intensified her natural colour. She was always complimented and it didn't look bad at all. I have another friend who wears violet once in awhile and although they don't look natural they do look pretty cool. You can buy them from most places where glasses are sold. You use them just as you would regular contacts. Good Luck and have fun.

I reckon that you can get really nice, natural looking ones, like real bright blue or vibrant green etc. I think that would look really nice. But those mongrel "cat like" ones or just plain white are gross and scary. If you want to get natural looking ones then do! most of the ones that I have seen are cool :)

I have never used them myself but 2 of my friends did, one has natural brown and used blue and lilac which looked nice but you could tell they were fake, there was just something wrong/unnatural looking about them.
Another friend used green contacts in green eyes, you'd think this wouldnt do anything but they were very cool, only thing was in all photographs she looked like the exorcist. So maybe they were bad after all.

Theyre ok, but only for special occassions. If you do get some, make sure you soak them for 24 hours before using them because otherwise they really irritate your eyes and can cause an infection. When you wear them, keep it to about an hour because they start to dry out and then theyre quite difficult to get out
