Has anyone read Faerie Wars?

I'm looking for other fans and I want to know what you think of the books.

I've read "Faerie Wars" but I have not gotten around to "The Purple Emperor" or "Ruler of the Realm" yet (though I do own them). I haven't read the book in a long time, though, so probably not the best one to answer. I enjoyed the book and thought it was really interesting, and obviously thought enough of it to buy the next two books without reading them, but I can't really give specific details about what I enjoyed.
