Is Verizon Wireless really that poor?

Verizon won't even let me set my sounds as ringtones, that I sent from Freeringers.net. I payed Freeringers.net for no reason. At least they got my 25 cent for the recieved pix/flix messages.

I have had them for years and never had any issues.
