not directly. Music is nothing but soundwaves. If music affected heartbeat, then so would any sound, whether it's rhythmic or not.
If a sound scares you , then it will speed up your heart.
If music makes you excited, then it will possibly speed up your heart, but that's due to emotion, not because it has a physiological effect directly on your heart.
Even 120 decibles of low frequency bass is such a tiny amount of pressure, your heart doesnt feel it, only your fragile ear drums, and maybe the outside of your skin if you were close enough.

Music can certainly have an effect on the heart rate. Soothing, relaxing music can help lower the heart rate, while upbeat, intense or loud music can increase it. However, the heart beat WILL NOT adjust itself to match the beat of the song; rather, it is controlled by the pacemaker cells in the heart and regulated be the brain stem and hormones. It is through the hormones and brain stem stimulation that music can affect the heart rate.

Geeze, that's an easy "prove it" honey,... pick different songs, fast pace, slow pace, melodic, instrumental, rap, heavy metal, classical. Listen to each and write down how your body reacts to them.

Music is directly correlated to beats and rhythms and that's proof enough for me.
