Don't listen to all the negativity. If you want to try out, then go ahead. I will support anybody who follows their dream. If you do go and audition, right before you go in to audition, tell the camera that you are from Yahoo! so we know you. I will vote for you because I really like when people follow their own dreams. Good Luck and Happy B-Day P.S. If you don't make it, go back next season. Don't trash the show and say it is the most horrible thing because most people who don't make it to hollywood, do that. :) Mylee

I auditioned last year and lost. I think I am too old. I was Gonged on the Gong Show back in 1978. My success as a singer has failed publicly, but personally it has been rewarding to me.
When I sing a love song, people cry.

One of my ex-coworkers auditioned in Canadian Idol...
We were folding clothes together, and she started singing out of nowhere and it was really amazing... I told her and she was like, "I know, I did the Idol auditions"!
I've never really watched that show so I didn't know... So I don't even know how far she got, but she's one hell of a singer :P

My daughter was going to, but my brother passed away a week before the try out in Minneapolis......next year though!

No, but I tried out for Who Wants to be a Millionaire. I lost out of course.

that is a great question. but sadly i have not tried out. i have one hell of a voice but simon scares me but mabye one day in the future when i live there again
