I adore Sirius and wish we'd gotten more time to really know his character, but right now my favorite is Ginny Weasley. I hope she makes more of an appearance in "Deathly Hallows."
Other favorites include Lupin, Dumbledore, Neville, Hagrid, Mrs. Weasley and McGonagall (other than the Big Three - Harry, Ron and Hermione).

mah fav. from the books are:
harry (duh), ron, siruis black, ginny and of course dumbledore.
in the first 2 movies the actor that portrayed dumbledore was really good. i imagined dumbledore exactly the same. but when he passed away and another actor took over dumbledores part, i got angry with the way he acts. its fully different and harsh. especially when in the 4th movie harry gets choosen for the triwizard tournement. he walks into the other room where flor,krum n diggory are. then dumbledore fully runs into the room and pushes harry against the wall (or watev).
its pretty weird for dumbledore to do that but anyway.... lol long answer.
