It depends on how long and how bad you've had it. Mine was pretty bad. So I saw a Dr and went on anti-depressants for a while. But the best thing was seeing a counselor and talking out the things that bothered me and getting a different perspective on my situation. good luck.

Start making wiser decitions and getting motivated. Stop slacking and getting out there again. I'm still trying to get back on my feet but I'm doing what I can to survive.

Change your cognition, get a better job, improve your life situation, ... sometimes people get on their feet again, sometimes they don't.
If in doubt try counseling.

Read "The I Ching." trust me, it will change your outlook on life. It seems very abstract at first but trust me on this one. Get the one by Thomas Cleary.
