Stage 1 foods are single ingredients and are easy for baby to eat and digest. These are basic foods like carrots, sweet potatoes, peaches, pears, etc. They are very thin texture wise.
Stage 2 foods start to have combinations and single spices. Like apples and prunes, cinnamon applesauce, and vegetable combinations. You start seeing meats in stage 2 as well. These foods tend to be a bit thicker.
Stage 3 foods have more texture to them and the serving sizes are normally bigger. You start seeing more food combinations here as well and more variety and spices like salts.
There are also foods like table and finger foods that are on the market too. These are things like puff cereals, toasts, and little meats.
