Any minorities out there that are sick and tired of your own people and some racists making your life hell?

I'm a minority (indian), and even though I've had some problems with race and all that, I'm really tired of this whole race thing in America. I mean, the Duke lacrosse thing seemed to show us that poor blacks will do anything to get whitey. They're just egged on by retards like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson who seem to be by-products of colonial plantations. Blacks and Hispanics (especially the poor ones) seem to to be egged on by people who act like they care about their people (like rappers, a prime example) to do some horrible things, like join gangs and stuff. They also seem to want privileges constantly, like affirmative action. Any member of their race who disagrees is seen as an Uncle Tom.
And on the other side, you have horribly racist people who can only be described as Bull Connor incarnates. All they see are black and latino thugs and want to exterminate the entire group.
Basically: any other people out there who are sick and tired of this self-defeating bulls**t?

please ignore the repeat paragraph. In response to Semper Fi 83, I know good black people, not just the ones I see on TV. They include a fairly thugged out kid who was the sole reason I passed AP Chemistry, and eventually got accepted to the likes of Duke, UPENN and many other great colleges. He also happens to be a huge fan of Japanese culture and anime. My Fedex guy is also a great African-American gentleman who I would trust my life with. Also, I'm a really dark indian, so some of the more naive people around thought that I had black ancestry. I primarily asked this question because I realized because of all this race crap life really hamper the lives of my friends... who really deserve none of this sh*t that pervades our society.

Your argument is totally valid. I agree with the distorted image that rappers give to young African Americans which just maintains the stereotypical cycle. Al Sharpton & Rev. Jackson are basically useless to the "black race" and just add another lump to the unleveling of the playing field.

I am a Black Man. I am tired of racism and racism based questions. You say that you are against racism and proceed to say why, but, while you do so; you took the time to be a bit judgemental about my race. Have you ever experienced black people other than the ones you see on tv? If so, it must be very scarce! You said that you are indian, and you insult civil rights leaders like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Did you know that people said some of the same things about Martin Luther King is his day. A man of peace who held Ghandi in high regard! Since you are not familiar as you may think with black americans, perhaps you should refrain from trying to speak as a representative! In short, get your facts straight!

I'm tired of racism period. I'm Half-Japanese, Half-White and I had an odd time growing up. A majority of my white family is racist and I would constantly hear them at family gatherings (when they thought I wasn't around) cursing about having "tainted blood" in the family (even though my white side has the sluttiest family tree I've ever come across...) and on my Japanese side I had a Grandmother who tried her hardest to drill into me that i was JAPANESE, not some "lowly" Korean or Chinese or Vietnamese, but a proud JAPANESE man. She disapproved of my mother's best friend (mom is white though) who was Malaysian and would often tell me some of the most abhorrent things.

Then I grew up and everything else in the world...bleh. I'm also gay so that doesn't help much at all either. Nearly everyone who finds out I'm part Japanese now starts pestering me about "anime" or something (which I generally know nothing about) and many Asian people who find out snub me because of what my ancestors did. It's bizarre to say the least.

And I am tired of it. SO tired of it. WHO CARES anymore? It shouldn't matter. It really shouldn't!
