I just bought it at a Gamestop and i played it and got a Wartortle(yes it evolved within its first 10 minutes) so i saved it and i put it away for a few minutes and i got it back out and turned it on, and nothing was there.
i tryed again and the same thing happend.
whats wrong with it.
i should get my money back...

Same thing happened to mine what you need to do is get a GBA SP and plug it into the wall and never turn off the game the battery is rechargeable on the GBA SP and if you take a road trip will last give or take ~9-10~ hours and then even you can buy a car adapter.

The game's internal battery probably ran out, so you need to get the battery replaced.
