Law schools don't care what you major in.

If you have an idea of what kind of law you'd like to practice, then great. Major in that. If it's business, take lots of business type courses. If Intellectual Property, take science, engineering, or math courses.

English is a good choice b/c lawyers have to write a lot. However, it can be quite a difficult major. Grades and LSAT matter the most, so if you want to preserve your GPA, you may choose to do easy majors like Poly Sci or Psychology.

Look it up in the career book from your college. It should tell you there, instead of asking on here. I hope you don't come to this site when you become a lawyer and ask questions about a case.
