The advice about buy cheap & move applies/works in most ballparks & I've been to 28 of them. Even if an usher is there, have some food & drink in hand & LOOK CONFIDENT!!

The Mariners website has a feature where you can select a seating section & it shows the virtual view of the field from the section. Pretty cool!!

Here is a link with Seat Reviews and In Seat Photos for Safeco Field - http://www.fromthisseat.com/index.php/mlb/seattle-mariners . When you click on the link, just scroll down and click on the Seats/Section you're interested in learning more about.
Hope this helps!

It depends on what you like. The bleachers are always my favorite because you get the boos and screams of all the Mariner fanatics. I like getting in and mixing it up with them, and the tickets are very cheap.

When I go to actually watch a good game or one im very interested in my favorite are right down the 1st base line. This way you get an excellent view of the game and typically seated with people a little less rowdy, only thing is that they are a bit more expensive.

just do what i do, buy the cheap seats, stay there for an inning or two and scout out the good seats that no ones sitting in. Then go there and when your walking passed the usher look at your ticket like your looking at what row your in and claim you seat. i do it every time.
