Hello,

**The previous respondant is incorrect!!

(ANS) Movies downloaded off the internet that are of good quality i.e. DVD quality tend on the whole to be rather large, so an average movie will be 1GB+ in file size (for a 60mins film).

**Most Hollywood or mainstream movies therefore WONT easily fit onto an ordinary CD-R or CD-RW disk due to the limited storage capacity of these disks (about 700megs). However, if you download a full movie you may find that you can copy the file/s onto a DVD disk, this is because DVD's now have far greater storage capacity than CD's.

DVD disks (that is DVD-R & DVD-RW's) can now store many GB's but this requires a DVD rewriter drive fitted into your computer (also called a DVD burner that takes DVD-R or RW disks). You would also require compatible software that allowes you to burn the movie files onto the DVD disk/s.

**Such as packages like "Nero" or See Roxio for DVD burning software (A quick Yahoo or google search should get you the details).

**Commercial film DVD's are usually copywright protected in some way & so may not be as easily copied as you might expect.

**Even copying downloaded movies onto a DVD disk is a fine art, its not as easy as some poeple would have you think.

**Alot does depend upon the movie files size, and format though.
