What's weird is that Red used to symbolize Communism and socialism. So how the heck did Conservatives get tagged with it?
USA Today thought they were being swift, switching the colors on their map of the US. By rights, Conservatives should be Blue and Liberals, whose agenda mirrors the old communist manifesto, should be red. But history is written by the ones with the printing presses.
