Im not sure if I understand the question correctly, but if you are interested in the effect that 9/11 had on racial profiling of muslims then you can check CAIR, the Council of American Islamic Relations. I recently had to do a research report on muslims after 9/11 and you'll be interested in your results. Generally, people that looked arab, according to their skin tone, facial hair, and dress found themselves at the very least harassed by others as terrorists, regardless of their religious affiliation and at worst, physically attacked. Most black muslims did not however suffer from any kind of racial profiling as they simply didn't appear arab. the most distiguishing feature, especially in regards to muslim females, is their dress. One interviewee described a horrifying account of being taunted on a public bus in NYC to "Go back to her country and stop learning how to make bombs from her father." Anyway, good luck with your inquiry.
