If you don't have eBay you are going to have a hard time. Try garage sales and independant toy stores and toy shows. If you have the internet Google GI JOE UK and see what all pops up.

Dang, your best bet may be to find out when the next Anime, Sci Fi, Comic or Action Figure show in the US will be and where it is, and then find a public board or forum with people going to it and hook up with someone from the US and ask them if they can scout the show and either but stuff and send it to you, or to get some store info for you so you can contact them directly.

A few years ago, I used to see them all the time in these 4 types of conventions still, some still in pristine mint condition in the box! It was great seeing the figures like that! I used mine to death - I loved the Kung Fu training set they came out with for them - that was awesome!

If your looking for vintage figures, gijoetoys.com

Hasbro has re-released some of the old gi joe figures (repackaged of course). Not sure the availability in the UK but here in the states I only seem to ever see em at the large toy stores.

Well Ebay is the only place I know of when looking for childhood toys. I'm curious why you can't get an account.

hiya. i don't know where you're from, but if youre from the Uk, go onto Yahoo groups (they may operate abroad too) and search for 'freecycle'. it's a site run by the government to recycle goods which otherwise be unused by people to don't care about them.

does that make sense. search freecycle on yahoo.

ps. you can call out for items you want that other people may have that they can give you.
