I work with hospice patients and find that the inverse is often the case. When a body begins to cease to function, especially if a lot of pain accompanies that, the patient typically is ready to die. I talk with a lot of elderly who are relatively healthy but realize they are facing death quite soon. Not once has expression a reluctance to move on. More often than not, it's the family who is influencing their loved one to hang on and spend more time with them. Those who do fight to live are normally younger and have unfinished business to tend to, such as watching their children grow up. It seems a case of our attachments to this realm; the more attached we are to people and tasks, the more likely we'll fight to stick around.

The drug used to place animals to sleep is easily an anaesthetic agent for horses and cows. actual the placed-to-sleep technique it to furnish an overdose of anaesthetic - the animal actually falls asleep because of the fact the anaesthetic takes result, and then dies together as asleep. it is an truly non violent technique, fairly the suitable thank you to bypass. The 'first shot' people are speaking approximately is a sedative. that's no longer given, basically particularly circumstances if an proprietor requests it. is in many situations pointless, as a ill animal won't in any respect be lively and could carry nonetheless for the intravenous injection. i've got attended actually 1000's of euthanasias. the only time animal ever react to the injection in any respect is that in the event that they are previous and doubtless scared, particularly circumstances feeling abruptly sleepy makes them experience weird and wonderful and that that they had leap around slightly. The injection is so speedy nevertheless - as quickly as that's interior the blood (and it is injected without postpone into the blood) it takes actually seconds to take result. there is not any discomfort interior the technique, the drug would not sting. I totally agree with you... The reason is I think, we human beings have a tendency to deceive ourselves.... Latest issue for example, global warming is happening and people seem not to mind... We are all going to die and apart from the ones who can say "I would do this same thing if I was to die tomorrow", we seem to act insane about life....

Instinct makes us fight to stay alive. I think each of us has the right to choose euthanasia but the government disagrees.

Because we all fear dying. We all unfortunately go through it, but we don't know what's really afterward. Athiests say nothing. Agnostic admit they don't know. Christians and others say the afterlife. But (I said this earlier) Each of our lives are personally unique and different because of the things we go through. It's priceless, and everybody keeps priceless things. No matter what it is.

love... the thought that maybe something better will come along... because if you die you'll never know. It's a bit of a gamble, but in the end there's not much to lose in staying alive, whereas in death you lose all.

Right with ya on that one, but a lot of people think they can get over whatever their last illness was and wait until their minds are gone.
