Everyone's different, but I would suggest getting creative:
Whenever your baby is napping, try your hand at knitting, making jewelery, drawing, poetry, writing... Who knows? If you get good enough, you might even be able to sell your creations for some extra cash! Babies are great, but the idea that a stay-at-home-mom should just spend all her time playing with the baby, cleaning and cooking isn't right for all people.
Anyway, it couldn't hurt. The great thing about creative pursuits is that you actually have something to show for all that work afterwards that is permanent (unlike housecleaning, unfortunately :/ ), so you feel productive. Even if you write a book that never gets published, at least you can say you wrote one, which is more than most people can claim!

Even though it is cold you should try and get out for a least an hour a day. My son is 14 weeks old so I know how hard it can be. Try your local health center they have coffee mornings for new mums so that would get you out once a week at least! Even instead of driving to the store for bread and milk why not wrap you both up warm and walk down?

Try this site, angel
stumbleupon.com
It's a toolbar you download onto your computer, you then fill out a profile of your interests like fashion, romance, games, sports, music, movies, philosophy, computers, cooking, history, travel, etc on your homepage. When you click the "Stumble" button on the tool bar it takes you to random websites on the Internet that fits your profile.
it's incredibly addictive. You won't leave the computer

My local hospital offers free mommy and me type classes. Try your local hospitals / community center. Also churches sometimes offer play date groups, try calling some of them.
