I am looking for help for a friend who was in prison over 13 years ago. He has had a problem finding a job since he has relocated to Iowa.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should tell him to get with his Parole Officer, my friend's boyfriend has one and he found him a job a couple months after he got out. Other friends of mine have also found work through their POs. If he wants something quick, they have day labor jobs. There's also Labor Ready. I don't believe there are any in Iowa but they are some in Nebraska and Kansas. Overall, I strongly suggest that he go to school or take some classes in the trades for some certification.
