Where can if find a good guide for shading and usage for water colors? I just started drawing again and I'm really rusty. I have the concept down but I need a refresher. Also, looking to start using water colors again.

I've never used water colors but I have been sketching since I could pick up a crayon so maybe I could be of help with that. Here are my shading tips.
Take two simple objects and put them under a desk lamp. Draw the objects & thier shadow with black charcoal and shade from dark to light, and pratice this until thier perfect. Then use black paper and use white charcoal to draw the light to dark. Turn the lamp in different directions, too. This is how I was taught, hope I helped.
