if u make ur phone go well empty on battery power. then after 2 weeks of not using it, the battery can die. as i sent my phone away to get fixed and it came back 2 weeks later and tried to put my battery in but the phone still never came on when it was on charge. (p.s. when the phone came back it was a brand new one as other one was not fixable) both was a nokia 3250.

The battery may be so dead the circuitry is having trouble sensing it. If you leave it plugged in for 24-48 hours it should eventually take a charge. This happened to me as I shelved an old nokia with a dead battery and the charge icon wouldn't even come up. I just left it plugged in for a couple days and eventually it took the charge and works good again. This was with a Li-Ion type battery so your mileage may vary with other (older) types of batteries. I don't leave my batteries sit dead any more and recharge them every couple of months if they haven't been used in awhile.

It could be the charger. Change the charger and if it still doesn't work, you have to tell your phone company and get a refund.
good luck
