Very much so. His career scoring record isn't real impressive. In 343 games, he has 190 goals, 0.554 a game. That's not real great for a forward.

I think the Chelsea move was a bad idea. Too many cooks spoils the stew. Too many stars on that team. No one shines (except Drogba). I think he's a good player just needs to find the right team. That's a good mix of stars and passionate players. He'll be good at Arsenal. Besides I love seeing his face every week.

He is a very talented player. But he is with a team that does not suit his style I think. He also has had trouble with the manager and has played out of his usual position.
He has not lived up to his billing or his price. He should return to Italy or to Spain. Unless Chelsea has a new manager in the summer.

Series A has no where near the pace and presure of the EPL. In the EPL, the goal-scoring window of opportunity is very short. Sheva hasn't adapted. I don't think he will.
He'd do well in La Liga and obvioulsy in Series A. The pace would suit him better.
So - He's underated in the EPL - for what he can accomplish elsewhere.

I agree with whuFCb. He's a great player who had great success with AC Milan...He is just not right for the English league. Overtime he'll most likely get used to it and become a better player for the team, but he's still adjusting and hasn't so much been able to showcase what he had in Italy.

No he is not overrated if you look at his performances in the past 7 seasons he is arguebly the best striker in those 7 years. I will admit that he is not playing well at the moment but the english league is tough to adapt to and I think if he is given time he will eventually adapt.

no i don't think he's overrated he just doesn't fit in with Chelsea. or maybe the EPL is not suited for him. i think soon he'll get better because outside players usually take some time to adjust to english football but right now he's not in great form.

Just give him more time to adjust to the English game. The guy lacks game-time. And then we'll see. But I believe in his abilities (though I'm not a Chelsea fan).

No, he's not, he just is making the switch between Italian soccer and English. He'll fit in eventually.
