I have had a goatee for 10 years or so, last month I pretty much shaved it off and kept the mustache, but I let it grow mega-large. I got a couple comments from the women at work saying "I like that" or whatever. It seemed weird to get a comment though. Like I would never comment on some woman's face. Do you think they were being sarcastic?

You've had the same facial hair for so long that everyone was used to it and when you changed it people probably felt obligated to say something to acknowledge that they had noticed. When a girl at my school gets a haircut, all the girls say "Oh I like your new haircut!" even if they dont really like it because it's nice to notice things like that. As far as whether or not they were being sarcastic, I couldn't really say. Some of them were probably just being nice, like I was saying, and some may have been being sarcastic, but it's possible that they were being genuine.

That would be really hard to say. Although I am a woman--women can mean so many different things. Women cannot understand women. lol. I like a mustache--and I see so many opinions here--so don't worry too much about it. Do what you are comfortable with. Good luck

I'm not into mustaches, so If I said it, it would be sarcastic.

For the most part I really think they were laughing, anyway the girls in my office would, only cause they are so immature.
