I think it is, because at least with unrealistic goals, you are still striving for something. I think people are too critical of unrealistic goals, really.

Setting an unrealistic goal is the same as not setting any goal. In both cases, no goal is achieved.

depends on what they are.

But to me, setting goals you cant attain are just as worthless as not having any at all.
