Hi I have just finished a drawing and I'm going to be having prints created of the original. These prints are to be signed and numbered by me but do I sign the original artwork also or wait till I have prints made of it then sign and number each print individually? Thanks for your time.

Sign and date the original.
Sign, date, and number the prints.

The standard practice is to sign and date the original artwork. Then you individually number each print, and sign and date the specific print on the day you sell it. This helps establish the authenticity of each copy.
