tranny ... you wouldn't be able to shift if it were the clutch.

IT'S HARD TO ANSWER YOU QUESTION BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER THINGS TO CHECK, START WITH THE CLUTCH FLUID, HAVE YOU CHECK IT, IT'S LOCATED ON THE FIREWALL, NEXT CHECK THE THE SEALS WHERE THE CV JOINTS GO INTO THE TRANSMISSION IF THE ARE LEAKING, TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK OUT AND OIL LEVEL COULD BE LOW. HAVE THE SEALS REPLACE AND JUST FILL THE TRANY WITH TRANSMISSION FLUID, WHAT ELSE CAN I TELL YOU OTHER THING YOU CAN DO IS FIND A REAL HONEST MECHANIC

GOOD LUCK

If the clutch engages for you to change gears, then the clutch is not the prob. If you push the clutch in and hit the gas , but you don't accelerate, the nthe clutch is disengaging fine.

You defenantly need another trans especialy with the gears going out like that in that fashion.
