I'm a teen but I hate wearing super low-rise jeans that are found everywhere. don't get me wrong, i'm not looking for any high-waisted jeans but i would love to have a good pair of jeans that won't show my butt when i bend down. i think it's so tacky when i see someone's crack (not to mention disgusting). i'm looking for something that has a rise like just 1 in. from the belly button. i'm about average in size so i fit in my clothes pretty okay. i love AE, hollister, wetseal and aeropostale but most of their jeans are super low since they are the "it" thing. I have a pair of jeans from a department store that was pretty cheap and i love and fits not to low on my waist. suggestions? names of stores? thnx

try lucky brand jeans..they have 3 or 4 different cuts and lots of cute styles and they ALWAYS have some clearance!

I can't stand the super low-rise either. Course, I've had 2 kids, so don't exactly have a flat belly anymore, either. I've had the most luck at JC Penney's. Their Arizona brand has quite a few different styles that are mid-rise. On me, they sit just about where you're looking for - just an inch or so below the belly button. I'm short (5'1"), so might have different criteria than you, but I love the Lee jeans. I have an outlet nearby, so I get them real cheap. :-) Most of their jeans are more mid-rise, and they have a variety of different styles.

Have you tried using a belt? this fixes the @ss crack problem on almost all low rises and you can usually find some pretty nice ones to match your shoes. I have the same problem so trust me you will never be able to find low to med rise jeans that won't do that awful exposure thing ; O

True Religion (Brand), H&M, and Angels (you can find them at Kohl's....). If you have a small frame, you might also fit into Limited Too jeans, which have perfect waistlines.

Those are some brands/stores that have higher rise jeans. If you don't have any luck, go ahead and buy those low rise jeans and buy a tunic to wear with it.... that's what I do.

Good luck!

Try Old Navy Super low rise. They are about 1 1/2 in below the belly button, and as long as your underwear are low enough, you can't see them. Another plus: NO CRACK!

Have you tried shopping at The Buckle? I got a pair of Lucky's and they are about medium rise. I don't have any problems with them being too low. They are a little pricey, but they will alter them free of charge.

They might be a bit more expensive...but i would try a pair of True Religion Brand Jeans....they usually fall a bit higher on the hips but they are still extremly fashionable!

I haven't seen teenage anything in quite a few years, but I'm with you in that I don't like my rear skin and underwear on display when I bend over. Nasty! I'm average size, but have a 32" inseam. I have a lot of luck at NY Express and H&M, believe it or not. I also like Tahari and Jones NY jeans from dept stores. Good luck.
