my sons homework asks how does a cow drink water and also a cat and a bird. i said lapping and pecking but just wanted to get a little feedback

I don't know what weird kind of cows Corey has seen! Cows suck the water - I have seven here if you wanna see!! A cat laps, and a bird fills it's beak and tips it down their throat.

bird pecks at the water, (as far as i know), cats and cattle lap the water, same with dogs.

Probably a little too late but:
Cows suck the water up like horses. That's the only one I know for sure.
