You wont get bad luck from a broken mirror. As for getting angry, I think we have all gotten to the point where we could (and do) throw things. Apologize to your mom, and try to find a way to let off steam some other way, BUT don't beat yourself up.

It is okay to be angry and it is okay to be upset and it is okay for it to have been you who were. It is called Life, and we all get angry and we all get upset and we live life right along with you because we are all human. No bad luck. Promise. Just one thing - it might be just plain polite to apologize to your Mum when you get a minute because it will make her happier, it will restore the love between the two of you, it will make you feel right again inside and then you can get back to whatever you were doing before all this happened. No bad luck. I personally forgive you for losing your temper with your Mum. There, now all of your bases are covered. All that remains for you is to go out and enjoy your day. Also, please give my best regards to your Mother for being an angel and loving you, no matter what. Best to you always, from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old and have "lost it" many times, but all of my friends love me dearly and realize that my behaviour and who I am are not the same thing.)

Assuming "mirrow" means "mirror", and that you actually believe you get "bad luck" from breaking one - why not transform it into something useful?
Break up the pieces into smallish shards, like an inch or two each, and the use it to make a mosaic on the outside of a big flowerpot or something.

The only bad luck you will have is the punishment from your mum. Most superstitions came about because, either people didn't know better, or because of a safety or cost issue. In the old days, mirrors were quite pricey, so parents told their kids that if they broke a mirror, they would have the bad luck. Walking under a ladder is another example. The real reason, obviously, is safety but people used to say you would have bad luck if you walked under a ladder.

I used to work on a garbage truck and break mirrors all the time. That 7 years thing isn't true- That was 3 years ago and now I don't work on the garbage truck anymore and make triple what I used to.
Don't be so angry with your mother...she is your mom and will always be there for you, even when you don't think so!

Honey, I seriously doubt that you will experience 7 years of bad luck, that's an old superstition, and I don't necessarily buy into superstitions/wives tales.
You lost your cool and did something silly, learn to direct your anger in some other way, like getting away from the situation, going to your room, writing out your feelings or sticking headphones on and jamming to some cool tunes. Good luck!

No sweetheart, that business about 7 years' bad luck is an old wives tale, pure unadulterated cockamamie BS. Get your momma a new mirror and forget about it!
Not only that, there's no such thing as luck. Luck is a word we use to describe our feelings when something happens to us, that's all.

You need to trip up the stairs that will bring you 7 years good luck or get a bird to poo on your head thats good look.If you break a mirror, waiting seven hours (one for each year of bad luck) before you pick it up, and then burying it outside in the moonlight should counteract the bad luck.
If you believe !!!!! ;)

I'm guessing that "mirrow" means "mirror", just a guess. It's a superstition so if you really want to take everything bad that happens in your life as 'bad luck', so be it.

No, you only get seven years bad luck when you break a mirror, not a mirrow.
