how do i repair my belt-less vacuum cleaner?

there is no suction; its a kenmore progressive direct drive

At least every couple of months, I take whatever can be removed from my vacuum off. I take a whisk broom and clean out every part that I can. I know I sound like I have OCD, but I have a small Shark vacuum and I've even used it to get to the hard to reach places!!! Once it's all cleaned out and put back together, it works like a charm.

Unless the impeller is broken, it is most likely a clog. You may have to do some dis-assembly to get to it.
